Curious if anyone still remembers these old toys, the ones before the TV show. And wondering if anyone still owns their figures and sets.
I own a lot of LPS figures and sets. They take up space in storage but it's great to own a lot because nowadays the old ones are worth so much money that I don't want to pay. I remember I got this rare LSP pet and I paid 40 for it! Just crazy. All these LPS toys are from my childhood and still in good shape and I have a few copies of animals and I made them into customs which was fun!
I just happen so to find a couple of rare ones at Goodwill last month, and I was lucky. But I am going to get more brand new ones from Amazon that I saw, they're just a single LPS animal with accessories like a phone and glasses, plus Starbucks ice coffee!

No. But I wish I still did.

I had a ton of them from their original era, but I gave them all away to my baby cousins. I had HOURS of fun with those little cusses and wish I still had them -- especially since a lot of people are into them these days.

I sold mine at a garage sale when I was 11 along with my Polly Pockets. 😭😭😭 I still have a few of them though. I used to have TONS. I would even bring them to school.

Oh gosh, they are creeping under my bed atm. I no longer have the giant playsets that came with it but still have a bunch of pets and accessories. I dug them out a while back and sold a few to people who collect them. Apparently there is a lot of demand for ones made in the early 2000's with the pink magnet under the feet, instead of the smaller blue one used years later. Also, there are a ton of counterfeit ones that go around on Ebay.

My absolute favorite one I still have is the brown ferret. I just remember bugging my dad for it on Ebay since I couldn't order stuff online for myself. He later surprised me with it. That one I will probably never sell, it gives me good memories.

i have no idea if we kept mine from when i was a kid, i don't know where they would be if we still have them. i think we got rid of a lot of my old toys when i got older, either gave it to friends and family or threw it out

Don't think I ever had those, though I kinda wish I had cause they're damn cute. I had a lot of Polly Pocket though, regrets getting rid of those cause "kids toys" :(

I only owned a few figures back then, I don't think I have them anymore. Most of the toys I had either got sold or lost over the time. I always found LPS so adorable, yet never really had the chance to collect them.

I still have them, around 400. They’re just sitting in my closet, and it’s sad because they used to be my favorite toy. I would always watch LPS videos on YouTube and wanted to be an “LPSTuber” myself, but then I realized that I didn’t have a lot of the ‘pretty’ ones or the best sets or clothing. I also didn’t have nice nails and wanted to wait when I was older so my voice wasn’t so squeaky when voice acting lol

Oh yes, I do. I started collecting them around 2005 or so? I don't collect them as much anymore, but I've never gotten rid of them.
I can't even count how many I have at this point lol

i had an obsession with them as a kid, but i got rid of them at some point. i would take one or two to school with me and stick them to my desk during class.

I had SO many as a kid but over time they were either gotten rid or to declutter, lost or who knows what. I don't have that many as I used to anymore.

It's one of those things you look back on later and realize 'damn maybe I shouldn't have gotten rid of them' cause if they became popular enough later they could have been a collectors items.

I still have a couple!

I also remember playing with the Tamagotchi-like toy. I really wish I still had that, though it got stolen at school one day. Saddest day of my elementary school life right there, haha!

I love the ferrets! And yes the demands about the pink magnet, but I always felt like the pink magnet was too thick sometimes and makes the pet not stand straight. So I rather to have the blue ones.

Very sorry to hear about that. One of my friends got their LPS mini playset stolen at school too so many years ago.

No, but I really wish I still did. I had a ginormous bin full of rare early to late 2000's LPS and even a few early 2010s sets and I really loved them. Even had a couple of those jumbo ones (the penguin and cat). Really regret deciding on giving them away because i'm the kind of person who would play with them in secret lol
they were my entire childhood and i miss them ;v;

honestly? yeah. back in elementary and middle school, i had gotten back into collecting them and even had a photography account for them on instagram; since “g2” had been discontinued, i purchased most of my lps on ebay and god those things are expensive?? i really thought paying $50 for one figure was a good investment at the time lmao.

i’m not really into them anymore, though; i got rid of most of my collection a few years back + i haven’t touched the photography account since 2017. however, i did keep some of them; i can’t remember which ones but i mainly kept the deers, the expensive ones and a few others and they’re now in a tin in my closet c’:

while i’m not interested in them anymore, i do search them up on ebay to see what’s available nowadays + if the prices are any different and i’ll also sometimes search up some of the more popular “lps influencers” such as lpshannah, sophiegtv, etc >_<

I kept my favourite animals (mostly frogs & lizards) but got rid of all my sets and at least half my collection. They were definitely some of my favourite toys as a child.

Oh wow, I used to love to collect LPS! I had a big bag full of them when I was a kid, I think I had nearly 100. I used to be really into watching those YouTube series people made with their LPS and me and my friend even tried to make our own once (we were too young to know how to though). I think I threw all of mine out during one of my regular room purges though,,,

Other 2000s toys I collected: Bratz dolls, Sylvanian Families, Build a Bears, and Webkinz.
