Pokémon Do You Think The New DLC For SWSH Is Expensive?

I really don't care about price, but the games are awful, unfinished, unpolished, sorry excuse for a Pokemon game.
Plus the Pokemon Company have committed the sin of working with the Chinese communist dictatorship, so let's see how long it'll take before they do a Blizzard move, and hit themselves with critical damage in their confusion.
It's sad, Pokemon have always been my favorite franchise, for over two decades I've played their games, but TPC seems to have taken too much control over the mainline games GameFreak makes.
Either that, or GameFreak have just become as corrupt, and greedy as TPC.

I don't think it's expensive for what you but this game is terrible compared to other games, it's just a pokemon game cut in half. Not just the regional Pokedex, but literally the entirety of this game and don't even get me started on that awful shiny hunting method, I'd rather stick to USUM or one of the older ones.
I could be wrong but don't you get an EXP share from the DLC? If so, that's messed up as that's a thing that's been in games before so you're literally paying more for a feature that's already existed. It's a tiny example of how shady Gamefreak has gotten. I just can't personally accept this behaviour as okay. You're totally right. This game is half a Pokemon game where you have to pay more to be able to get the full game. Not to mention how horrible this game is graphically too.
It's just a mess and they should be embarrassed for creating it.
Look at MK8D compared to this, better graphics, it feels like regular Mario Kart doubled and they fixed everything wrong with regular 8. Also idk abt the EXP share, but that's stupid if you're right. Mario Kart Tour is better than this, though it has micro-transactions at least you don't have to pay for stuff that was in previous Mario Kart Games for free

Why do I feel like i'm the only one who thought SwSh games were excellent. The story and the animation were beautiful.
A perfect example! Every game should be better than the last and improve on things. It's just clear there's no love so if they can't love it, why should we?

Yup! I think the price could possibly be more justified by the time the next part of the DLC comes out but as it currently stands it's way overpriced.

I absolutely loved shield, prolly enjoyed it more cuz i've been living in britain for 10 years, so all the games 'british-isms' were absolutely HILARIOUS to me.
On the topic of the Expansions.
I actually like this model? Ever since black and white, if you wanted the "New content" they put out in black and white2, you had to buy a whole new game, at full price, and replay the whole story, with some new bits sprinkled around.
This led to me not purchasing a single NEW pokemon title for years, untill the 'sequel' came out, then i'd buy that.
I obviously miss out on all the fun and hype while its fun and new and fresh, in doing that.
This new "Expansion" model, has you keeping the same base game, your pokemon, your badges, your accomplishments, and for LESS than the cost of a FULL PRICE NEW GAME.
I think people are still so goddamn hung up on "Boo hoo my favorite pokemon is'nt in the game right now, gamefreak and nintendo suck" that they are'nt happy about actually saving money in the long run, by not having to buy a "Sword and Shield2"
I personally have'nt picked the expac up yet though, i'm still riding the Animal crossing wave and dont have the attention span to play 2 games at once >>

I absolutely LOVE these videos. You can tell no love was put into these games. It's just one big glitchy unfinished mess of "how little work can we put in, in order to sell them?!" Nobody can look at that and tell me that's some high quality art and animation built for this generation of gaming's standards. It's embarrassing. But it does lead to some great videos!
Comparing the expansion to BW2 is mad cause that’s probably the perfect example of how they should of been doing 2nd games and then directly after that the 2nd game for gen 2 was ORAS which was completely different game to XY.
I actually wish they’d do something like BW2 again and pay full price for that rather than the laziness we have now

I’m sleeping on the DLC until I see Crown Tundra. If they bring the other gen’s starters in, I’ll bite. Otherwise, I might be sitting out.
