ACCF doesn't really keep me hooked. I remember in the original there was ALWAYS something to do. In this one I'm usually left bored for at least two hours if I'm not doing anything on wi-fi. This game just doesn't have as much stuff to keep you clinging on it in my view. Post your opinions here.

Nope. Not at all. Why? Because I already had my Animal Crossing addiction phase with Animal Crossing for the gamecube years ago (around 03-04), and that lasted until I got wild world back in 05-06. So considering City Folk is just GC and WW mixed together with good stuff tooken out, CF only kept my attention for 2 weeks, I just recently started playing again.

It doesn't keep my attention. How many times can Nintendo repackage the same game and still make a profit?

Well WW wasn't the same as Gamecube really, it had a bunch of new stuff, not to mention it was portable, CF on the other hand is just Nintendo making WW and GC into a sandwich, but some of the good stuff fell out while they were making it.

WW had new stuff, but just not enough for my liking.

I second that. I got off of ACCF quickly and recently started playing the original GCN version. Data corrupted about a week ago and now I'm out of AC. (plus I made 200,000 a day on GCN, on CF i only made 15,000!

It kept my attention until at least 3 months after I got it (I got it @ Christmas). But I get on from time to time. But the main problem is that my friends aren't always on when I am.

it used to keep me hooked, till nintendo killed my saved data... then it took me a couple days to work myself back up to play again and star brand new...

now nintendo's probibly going to end up wiping my saves again....

Yes... It's been taking up most of my days for a few weeks now. Every day that i try to tell myself to give it a break, I'm reminded that there's a Flea Market, or K.K. is in town, or that I'm working on growing hybrids so I need to water, or that I don't want to miss any of summer's bugs and fish, or that I can order from people to finish collecting some of my sets, the list goes on and on. Despite City Folk's many flaws and annoyances, the game really is made pretty well for its type.

I addicted to City Folk. I was never able to get the Gamecube version. I had Wild World, but that nevetr got me hooked. The Wii has stuck to me for the last 7 months though.

Oh Yea....very addicted....been playing since the end of December and it is now the end of July. When will this addiction END!?

When it was released, I guess I was hooked. It only lasted like a month though.
