Ive been trying to get back into snapchat. Should I? Do you guys want it?

I liked it for a while but honestly I dont care for it anymore. I use it very rarely and I only send stuff to my best friend if I wanna show him a funny pic. I also sometimes send stuff to my boyfriend if the filters are really stupid and funny so he can open it eventually and just laugh. But he doesnt use it either. He only opens it when I tell him I sent him some snaps and I normally wait for them to pile up first

I prefer not to use it. It really isn’t my taste at all. My siblings try to get me into it, but I always resist when they do.

I have it on my phone, but I practically never use it. I only started using it back in 2017 because this girl I knew literally kept insisting that I get it for over a month and I finally just deleted everything on my old phone (I got a new one this past Christmas) just to get it since my old phone was just 8 GB LOL. But yeah, while I added a lot of people I knew IRL on it and everything, I've just never cared too much for it TBH. If you guys want to add me or anything, you can send me a private message, but I'm just not big on Snapchat. I guess it just comes down to the fact that by 2017, I was already 17, and had only had a smartphone for less than a year, so I just don't care for a lot of the stuff my generation does.

I mainly use it for my GF. Other than that, I don't touch it much. A few snaps a day and that's it. I do enjoy seeing my friends' goofy stories, though.

Yep I use it pretty often. I like to send pictures about my day to my friends. I think it’s an easier way to connect than through messages only. Sometimes I post a story and people I haven’t talked to in a while message me about the story :> I think it’s just a more low key way to stay in touch even though I don’t have much to say to them

I use it daily. It's great to have when I want to send pictures to my family, since I don't live at home anymore. Also, the filters are hillarious, hahaha!

I have Snapchat and use it. Nowadays I'm a lot less active there though since I got tired of trying to send something to my friends daily to maintain a streak. My snaps weren't anything interesting either, so for now I'm mostly using it on the occasions when I actually have something to show or say.

No, but then again I don’t really use most social media in general.

I have Snapchat but I don't use it very often. I usually use it to take videos of stuff like my cats, and then add them to my memories so I can watch them later without saving them onto my phone.

no i have a bad memory with it and i will not speak about it

Sometimes. I only use it to talk to one person, but now we use Discord, so I don’t use it— lol

Not much, I only really use it to put up stories and stay in touch with my friends. social media in general is very overwhelming, i tend to stick to instagram at most.

the only time I ever used it was to take selfies with the filters. But I haven't done that in a while and don't even have the app installed anymore

i honestly hate snapchat, some of the filters can be really fun and cute but a lot of the time it's just another creator of self-esteem and facial dysmorphia issues because of how it "beautifies" the face automatically (smooth skin, eye brightening/enlarging, jaw reduction)

i hate seeing girls (i say girls bc I rarely see males posting selfies with filters), always posting pics with the "beautifying" snapchat filters and never natural pics, you can tell they've become insecure because of how regularly they may use snapchat, it's a really sad problem. we're actually more attracted to what we see often (for example many find their face in the mirror more attractive than their face in a photograph), and if people use snapchat often enough, they begin to find the unreal them more attractive.

also hate the concept of sending photos and messages that disappear once read, half the time it's used to be sneaky. like if you can't message someone off snapchat... maybe you shouldn't be talking 2 them in the first place.
