Does Blathers mention having all the fish when you donate the last one?

I just donated the last fish I needed to catch. Blathers didn't say anything about having all the fish. I did do the "tell me more about this fish", if that would affect it. I'm just wondering if I have a fish that I didn't donate.

Okay, I just checked my critterpedia and they all have the museum symbol next to them, so I guess I'm okay. I'm just surprised he didn't say anything.

Huh, that's weird. I'm pretty sure he said I had all the bugs when I donated them, but I guess I haven't completed the fish, so IDK maybe it's different.

When I realized he didn't say anything about the bugs the first time, that's when I realized I actually HADN'T donated them all (I had caught them all, but forgot to donate one).

I looked back because I completed my fish list in December. I have screenshots of Blathers saying I have completed the fish collection - and I did so before completing all the deep sea creatures, because I got a different dialogue when I did that recently. That's weird that he didn't say anything for you???

Yah, I'd check the fish list again. It's REALLY easy to not notice that one hasn't been donated, I had to go through a few times before I realized which one it was!

Yah, I'd check the fish list again. It's REALLY easy to not notice that one hasn't been donated, I had to go through a few times before I realized which one it was!

I let him tell me about some, and not about others (mostly not) I feel like if there was a glitch regarding that, it'd be known by now, but maybe it's new? Who knows!

I found it. I'm missing the napoleonfish. Sigh... Why couldn't it have been the sea bass? LOL
