Does my DODO code work? (Turnips are at 559 and no one was able to come in)

Hello. I tried to open my gates with a DODO code bc my turnips are at 559 and no one seemed to be able to come in. My boyfriend was able to come in using it but we also are friends on the switch so I wondered if that had something to do with it. Can someone test out my dodo code? PM for dodo code.

when you opened your gates, did you select “friends only”? if you did, that would explain why only your boyfriend could get in

I chose “the more, the merrier” option. I’ve been on the turnip exchange and everyone wasn’t able to. I checked my connection and everything is successful but I believe the issue is that I’m using my college’s WiFi and it probably isn’t the best for this sort of stuff???

I’m going to just start accepting friend codes and opening it up that way. Gonna go do some errands and then make a new post!!
