Being new to signatures and all, how does one exactly do that (put within a 700px table)?
Just click the table button, under
B and fill in the fields.
I would usually only recommend tables for if someone wants to put something such as text beside an image in their signature, but I suppose it would work for this too.
Viewing this text on the regular desktop website, it will appear to be fairly normal, as you would expect. However, on a mobile device (assuming the mobile site is in use), you should be able to scroll horizontally to see all of it. This is only really something worth going if you're concerned about filling up mobile screens. There is a maximum width of 715px on the desktop site, but having a table that wide usually results in a horizontal scrollbar, so I just go for 700px as it seems reasonable. I guess you could go for more through trial-and-error, but different browsers can handle things slightly differently so it's not really worth it. |
