I know literally all (pretty sure) the animal crossing games have followed the seasons and the events that come with said seasons but they were also being played in real time so it made sense. So, does anyone actually know if the game will still recognize the changing of seasons or a holiday? I dont know if anyone has tried since the game doesn't run in real time. I don't remember anyone talking about it when the game was being discussed so I dont know if it happens or not.

Does anyone here know?

Yes, the main town follows the seasons of the ds clock and there are no events. There will be designing events as part of the HHN however

Aside from the channels you see on the TV, the seasons on the main town, and the challenge events from the HHN.

There are no other events.

While the seasons in your main town change slowly and there aren't any events, you *will* have a chance to unlock the seasonal furniture. E.g. Curlos the sheep wants a Toy Day house, and Tammy the bear wants a Hallowe'en house.

The clocks in the villager's houses also follow real-time, it looks like. Not sure how that may work in certain situations though.
