"She wants to abolish the 2nd amendment, although theres probably something you 2nd amendment people can do about it I don't know"

He just gave people the idea "Hey, he's right! Lets just go shoot her!". If anything happens to Hillary its on him now.

I wouldn't wish harm on anybody, but if they can do something about Hilary they should do something about Trump while they're at it. Hell, defeat the competition and get Bernie back in the lead.

If I ran against any of you TBTers during a presidential election, I would be more respectful to you guys. I would only explain my strengths, not my opponent's weaknesses or insult them. I also wouldn't talk extreme like what Trump said.

Though I have to admit that repealing the second amendment will be the push for Texas to secede. The state is already fed up with the federal government, and repealing any amendment would be the final straw.

Anyhow, I always thought Ted Cruz was better.

Repealing the 2nd amendment is a lie that republican officials twisted after Obama brought it up. The 2nd amendment isn't being repealed, the democrats just want gun laws.

too bad for texas that texas can't legally do that anyways

also even if they did, they rely so much on federal government funding that to cut that would basically be economical suicide

The second amendment would never be repealed in the foreseeable future. I think the most common sense thing to restrict is not allow those with a violent crime history to buy any, those currently suspected of violent crime, and that before you are allowed to buy one you get proper training with firearms. I worked at a boy scout camp, even ran the archery range, and you go over safety more than anything. When I think of some idiot right out of high school buying a weapon legally while knowing nothing of the safety with guns it really bothers me. We licence cars and require a drivers license for a dangerous vehicle, I think we should do the same for dangerous weapons.

Exactly. The U.S.would never let a state secede.

Then why did Trump say that Hillary is going to repeal the second amendment, knowing that she doesn't want to repeal it? At this point, I seem to have more sympathy towards Hillary than Trump.

The president has tons of security now. I don't think anyone could get close to killing her. Even if something happened to her, her VP would mostly do the same things she would do.

Because Trump is a confirmed compulsive liar that is on the fast track to losing the election, so he'll now say absolutely anything to rile up his base, even blatantly suggest that they kill her and/or her cabinet picks.

Well she is, there's no denying it. But of the two evils, she's the lesser evil. But Trump has taken lying and turned it into ammo that could potentially load the chambers of his off-kilter supporters with guns.

He needs to keep his mouth shut. His chances of winning are getting lower every day to the point were he is just hurting himself. He pretty much just lost. Why couldn't the nominee have been Kasich or even Cruz or Rubio. I just can't wait for the election to be over with.

Now I believe he ruined his chance of winning the election. Him suggesting that his supporters kill his opponent is the final factor of crossing the line. No matter how well he's gonna do in the states that are mostly red, I don't think he will win even 200 electoral votes.

I don't wish he wins at all, but I do wish the Republicans still keep both the house and the senate so when Hillary takes office, she can veto extreme right-winged policies while they can reject Hillary's left-winged executive orders. This can silence the federal government or weaken their power.

Because you my friend have just fallen victim to what he wants you to think. Try to find one time where Hillary said she'd repeal the 2nd amendment

inb4 "it was a joke"

And you called it.

Anybody in the world is more respectful than Trump. Christ, the man is insane.

He's a pathological liar.

Both the candidates have Secret Service protection atm. IIRC even Bernie had it.

^ yet Trump supporters slam Hillary for being a liar, hm.

She lies, yes, but I feel she lies far less than Trump.

I feel like he's self-sabotaging.

If Hillary wins the Presidency, the Senate will go Democrat.
