yea. if u pop it in a field of weeds it'll despawn too. if ur using ur garden to breed hybrids, keep them one space apart. it works just the same as keeping them side by side, but leaves a space for things like that (but it also takes up more room). im a bit scared of this for when i actually start making my town pretty and have multiple flowers side by side.

yup, found this out the hard way too... :')

balloons also can fall into water and be lost. however the first time you do this you get a nook miles award for "lost treasure"

i’ve had 3 presents fall in the water because i thought the balloon was far away enough from the river,, i was wrong c’:

I had a gift fall onto a giant beach rock and it disappeared as well.

It's funny how there's an achievement for this though.
