Hey guys, I have some doubts on my mind, and before I do anything stupid I'd like someone to clear me some things.

  • How many villagers can you have in void at the same time?
  • How many villagers can move out at the same time?
  • If you befriend a villager on your campsite, but has already 10 villagers living in your town, is there any chance to get the campsite one to move in the next time a spot is open?
  • If I TT to make an in void villager to finally move out, and TT backwards, is there any chance to lose any other random villager?

Beware of my english. Thanks in advance.

1. you can have one villager in your void at once
2. only one villager can move out at once
3. if you have 10 villagers in your town, the campsite villager won't even ask to move in , so no.
4. I don't understand what you mean by time traveling to move a villager in your void out, but I don't think you can lose a villager by time traveling backwards

Oh, I meant time travelling to get rid of a villager that is already in void, and then going backwards to your normal game, since once a villager is out there's no way to get him back by TT.
But thanks for all your answers~

I think you can have up to 16 villagers in your void. At any rate, I believe it's more than one, since I've read posts where people have discussed giving or getting voided villagers even though they'd voided others.

Only one villager can move out at a time.

You can't make campers move into your town in advance. If you have a full town, the only thing you can do is be patient and wait for that villager to show up in your campsite again (or do the campsite reset trick) once you have room for them. You can also invite villagers from other towns, so if you've missed a chance of getting a villager you wanted now, you can adopt that villager from someone else when you have a free spot.

You can't make a voided villager move out, they've already moved out. A villager is voided if they're moving out but nobody adopts them. You don't need to time travel to get a voided villager to move to someone else's town, though. If you mean time travelling to make a villager in boxes go away, yes, you can do that and you won't lose a random villager. You only need to time travel one day and that's not long enough for a villager to decide they're going to move out without asking you. Just keep in mind that if you time travel to the next or previous day while a villager is in boxes, that villager will be voided.

Ok here what happened to me.
Daisy pinged me and announced that she was moving out on the next 30th november. I saved the game and only turned it on again at night, but I didn't started it right away, first I changed the date to 30th so she would be in boxes already when I started my game.
My surprise when I got there and saw that she was happily not moving out!! Nor in boxes nor whatever. What the hell just happened here?

Did you tt backwards and then forward?

Sometimes villagers just change their minds about moving by themselves, I think. I've seen some posts around the forum where people complain about that happening to them with villagers they wanted to get rid of. The only scenario in which villagers change their move out date is if you time travel back at some point, which counts as a day forward in-game, but that would have caused her to move earlier and not later. Are you sure you picked the right option when she told you about moving?

If Daisy is still living in your town, she's not in your void. :)

Yes since she was one of the villagers I most want to get rid of, I accepted her decision but then she changed her mind -.-.
I bet that if it was a dreamie he'd be gone already xD.
Well, she's not anymore indeed, since she's still living on my town, I hate this.

You mean, you accepted her decision to move, then she changed her mind? Usually if that happens, you should reset and not talk to her at all to orevent her from staying. At her moving date, she'll be in boxes.

If you she decided to move after you agreed, you can try TTing a few days before her moving date and talk to the other villagers to check for rumors about her moving (it's the only rumor they'd ever talk about if she is) or talk to Daisy herself and see if she mentioned about moving. The moving villager would usually mention how many days till they move, so keep an eye on that and TT to that day.

Hope this helps!

She wasn't in your void to begin with, since she never left. Villagers only end up in your void if they move out and don't get adopted into another town.

Sometimes villagers just change their minds. If you really want to stop this from happening in the future, you can set your 3DS calendar to a date after the one she mentioned and start a new character to check if she's gone. If you don't mind voiding her, you can save your game as the new character (and delete it later if you don't want to keep it). If you want to adopt her out, you can use the same method for the day when she'll be in boxes, save, and let someone invite her to their town.

Actually now it's too late anyway. She said she'd move out on November 30th, right? I TT the game to this date, only to found out that she actually gave up, but then another villager pinged me on that same date and I accepted his moving. So I got a free spot in my town, but now I'll have to wait Daisy to ping me again.

It was too late from the moment you loaded with your game with your mayor to find out she'd stayed, since loading the game as your mayor locks in the current state of things.

My advice applies to any villagers you want to make sure to get rid of, not just Daisy.

I'm glad it all worked out in the end, with someone else that you wanted to move out pinging you about it.

How in the heaven could I know? ;_; this never happened before! I didn't even know it was possible.

I didn't say you had to know, I'm telling you now so you can understand the way the game works better and prevent it in the future.
