Downloadable Content?

What's this? I've heard that the developers wanted to do this.. but... Did They?

They did. If you have the Nintendo Channel, check out the game page for City Folk. look at the specs of the game (you know like # of players...) and somewhere there it says Downloadable Content. Also Japan has already got some downloadable content which was a red pikmin hat. If you know someone who was the Japanese version of Animal Crossing City Folk and is connected to the internet, he should have it. And if you were to visit his town, it would load it into your game.
Also there is hacked downloadable content out there, but I would suggest not doing that.

That's kinda cool to know. But if they did, did they specifically say for U.S., Mexico, And South America or just other countries like Europe and Asia?

its been rumored that they have nothing planned... but the person who asked asked a month after the games release... so dont loose hope, they dont plan on any, they probably will, but not like 3 months after the games release, probably after a year (1/2 maybe) from today.

Like, is the stuff programmed in already or is it genuinely made on the spot at nintendo? Cos the Punch Out thing doesnt seem the sorta thing they could have predicted while making the game

I think if it was put into the game prior to it being released, then you would have them released by hackers before their actual release date. For example the pikmin pot and the blue falcon.
