Contest Draw my Starbound character! (CLOSED: Have or working on art? Read thread! IMPORTANT)

Introduction​

Hey everyone! I've been really into the game Starbound recently. If you haven't heard of it, it's a terraria-like 2D space exploration game where you make an alien and explore the universe. I've become really attached to my character, Flooferton (I see you laughing) and want to get some good art for her. This might be a bit of a long post but I'm going to try to be thorough about the rules and make sure I have plenty of references for you to work with.

RULES:

1. Submissions of artwork must be turned in before midnight on October 29, 2017 (My birthday!). Winners will be chosen and notified before the 31st and their prizes received.
2. Most styles of art are okay, as long as they're within the rules of the forum. If you really feel compelled to draw something NSFW (ya weirdo) PM me and maybe we can work something out on the side, but they will not be in the running for the contest. (I think that's allowed? I never did much artsy stuff here.) I'd like to see my character portrayed as attractive/cute or fierce and protective but feel free to take any creative liberties you'd like.
3. The prize pools will be consistently added to throughout the coming months. I'm pooling all of my TBT into the prizes so when the contest is finished I can award as many talented artists as possible. I'll most likely give many more than three of you prizes because I want to make sure most or all of you get something out of this.
4. When submitting, please use the form at the bottom of this post.
5. No limit to the amount of entries per person! send as many as you'd like but fill out a form for each!

Things to know!​

Flooferton is a Floran, a race of savage, cannibalistic plant people. Although she's been cultured and educated on Earth, she still has a little bit of a savage nature.he purple bits on her chest and arms when unclothed are leaves and are a part of her body. Florans may either have hair or leaves on the top of their head. I'll include references of Florans with this post because I know it's hard to go off of those references alone.

please note the two horns on her head and include her wings if possible (if not, don't sweat it. I want to see both with and without). Feel free to take creative liberties on the wings and change the color, material (Scales? Metal? Leaves? Feathers? go crazy) and size of the wings. and once again, don't feel obligated to do the wings if you can't.

Prize pool!​

As stated above, the prize pool will grow as I earn TBT throughout the weeks. On the submission form you'll see a "1st place pool (optional)" option. if you so desire, you can submit a small (or large) amount of TBT with your entry to be awarder to 1st place. this will not increase your chances of winning but is much appreciated.

Closing thoughts​

This community has a lot of very talented artists and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with! No drawing is a bad drawing (Even if they're done in MS Paint I'll still get a good laugh out of it). Thank you so much for reading and have a fantastic day!

Hello everyone. I was originally planning to keep this contest open, but I've made the hard decision to close this thread.

There are a few reasons for wanting to do it, but the main one is that I originally made the contest as a fun thing artists could do in their free time. Recently though, I've come to realize that creating a contest means that it is inevitable that some artists go unpaid for their works. to me, that's just not fair at all. All of you are talented artists who deserve rewards for your art.

So if you want to draw me art for my character, VM me and I'll be happy to commission you. if you were already working on a piece, please let me know as soon as possible so I make sure I have TBT left over to pay you for your completed works. thank you everyone and have a wonderful day.
