Here is a fun art challenge for y'all! Draw your pet in animal crossing style as a villager! Maybe even come up with a personality for them?


If you don't have any pets, you could draw a friend's pet or a pet celebrity you like, or even just a bird you see in your yard a lot.

This is one I made of my character Cassette who is based upon one of my cats.
Currently working on drawings of my actual cats though (using a base since it's easier though)

Pocket and Posie are twin sisters. They don't have much in common but they get along better when they're together than alone.

Pocket is overly-curious, likes to explore, and collect critters. She's quite the chatter and likes to ask a lot of questions. She's a peppy villager.

Posie is overly cautious, prefers to stay indoors, read, relax at the cafe. She can be quiet but knows how to assert herself in conversations. She's a normal/snooty villager.

Bagel is a smug dog villager who loves howling and being with his younger "sister" Poppy. His catchphrase is "bork"

Poppy/Poppyseed/Lemon Poppyseed Muffin is a peppy dog villager. She had a rough past, but now is super energetic, kind, friendly, and loves running around. She also thinks she's a cat. Her catchphrase is "meow"

Divina is a normal cat villager who will purr nonstop. She is VERY fluffy. She loves being with Bagel and Poppy, but Poppy can be a bit aggressive when playing with her. Her catchphrase is "fluffy"


Bagel and Poppy are both beagles. Poppy's full name is Lemon Poppyseed Muffin but we usually just call her Poppy.
Smug isn't really the BEST personality type for Bagel, but it was the closest one I could think of.

well i dont have any pets buy my aunt has this one really sweet sheep. Shes a mix of normal and peppy, but shes more on the peppy side. She gets along well with the other sheep but is kinda reserved around people. her name is lena

It took a little bit to get it to look right, but here's Divina! I wasn't really sure what to do with the legs so I kept them simple. There's some stuff I don't really like, mostly the colors, but that's because it's so hard to accurately color pick from photos..

Aw this is such a good idea! I had fun sketching these.

Both based on my two cats using their actual names as I don't think there are villagers with those names? forgive me if I'm wrong.
Marley is peppy and Pablo is lazy as they fit perfectly with their irl personalities.
