Dreaming of a lost gyroid, please help me find it

So I've only found 2/3 gyroids after it last rained in my town. Is anyone willing to visit my DA and look around for it? I've left an ax and shovel in my plaza to help

Um, it won't be there, what you do in a dream doesn't translate to the actual town. Like if I visited your dream town and destroyed your flowers they would still be in your town. Can you tell me where you found it?

It's in front of the campgrounds ramp. It's a mega timpanoid.

Does burying fossils like that keep more from spawning?

Pitfall is there on purpose. Thanks for finding the timpanoid, I got it now. And yeah, however many fossils you get daily, whether 4 or 5, if they remain buried you cant get more until they're dug up

Good idea on burying four fossils somewhere out of site (behind a building, maybe?) so they aren’t continuously respawning. Does the same apply for daily Pitfall Seeds? I imagine they also do not respawn as it would make time travel annoying.

You are correct, sir! Keeping pitfall seeds buried means I don't accidentally fall into them either. Some people who have isolated sections of beach that can only be reached by swimming bury their pitfalls there, but I don't have that so I keep it way up by the upper waterfall, as far away as possible

Keeping these things buried on the beach only accessible by swimming is another good idea. Frankly, I take all my pitfall seeds to my fianc?'s town and bury them behind trees where she can't see them.
