I know they are on snowballs, but even with a silver net, I couldn't catch them when I saw them, which was last year. I rolled snowballs near the beach (I found all of the ones I saw near the beach), rolled them everywhere, but I can't even find them now. My friend caught one in his town, and he told me to just swing your net by a moving snowball. I tried that, but it didn't work.

If you see a moving snowball, walk slowly to the opposite direction it's going. You should see the dung beetle. You're not supposed to net the snowball itself, but the area behind the snowball.

I have had ACCF for a year and a TBT account for a while, so I'm not a noob, and I just got hooked on ACCF again, and I had some questions. That explains the new topics.

Thank you TravisTouchdown for the help. I will try it out and hope to catch one. How big should snowballs be for a dung beetle to appear? Any locations where they normally appear?

I have the Prima guide, and in December, it says the are out from 5pm to 8am. Do you know if this is true?

If you have the Prima guide WTF are you doing posting a thread?!
Omg......FAIL....
And i think it is Evening time they come out.

Because I have found mistakes in the guide. More than a few. Plus, I had no idea how to catch a dung beetle. The guide doesn't even tell you where the stuff is sometimes.
