What is an easy way to make TBT? Posting stuff can get quite boring, and selling stuff takes precious items that people have no idea of how to get (buying them from someone else and duping, perhaps?)
What are your methods to get TBT? I usually only post stuff, but getting enough to get a simple tier 2 villager/unorderable set/DLC can take a crap load of time.
I earn my bells a majority of the time by posting, but I will occasionally sell some things. As of current though, I'm actually planning on opening up a shop as well.
For me, I usually just post or sell stuff (Pokeheroes and collectibles) to earn most of my TBT.
Also, if you're up to it, stalking the drama/politics threads in Brewster's Cafe and posting a lot in them without violating the forum rules can earn you quite a lot of TBT.
Well posting gets me a bit, but selling collectibles gets you real rich 8)
Well I wouldn't say I'm "real rich" but it's not too hard to sell some of your collectibles for a couple k.
I sold my flower wand for 4.5k a few days ago, and ended up giving my pink feather away for about $60's worth huehue
(I know that's not TBT but shh it's worth like 12k so I'm still kinda making a point...I'm just saying people really want noice collectibles for a lot of money 8|)
Anyway, buying collectibles from events (with tickets / eggs / etc) or just purchasing cheap and reselling for more is a good way.
Alternatively, you could make GFX **** (like ACNL sigs or something) or even sell some art. Mine isn't particularly talented, but I made about 300 per each headshot, which is pretty good.
Another way I don't normally do, is selling ACNL items (or if you find that too boring, anything from other websites / games (Pok?mon, Flight Raising, etc)).
I remember one dude had a rendering shop or something, so I mean, there's quite a bit you could do, even if you're not good at art or don't have many in game items.
I struggle sometimes (a lot of the time) but just posting long replies is the simplist and easiest way I think.
If you post 10 times a day, you could get a max of like 100TBT, so 700TBT a week. Obviously, it's hard to post super detailed replies that frequently, but even making like 10TBT a day adds up over time 8|

Literally the only reason I have so many TBT Bells is because once I got all the birthstone collectibles I didn't need any TBT, and I haven't ever seen a collectible I've wanted since. So, now I just post and post and, unaware to me, I'm getting richer and richer.
You don't have to buy a second copy to do some cycling, it's possible to cycle within your main town if you just leave a few spots for cycling villagers. I've managed to do it before without messing up my town.
But I do find the easiest way is just to sell in game bells for tbt. 20mil for 100tbt. Of course if you haven't saved enough to do that, just make some detailed posts on the discussion sections on this forum. It's slow going but soon builds up
