I don't make art very often. Which is why I don't improve very much...
But maybe if I start posting all the junk I create up I'll get more motivated... or something. (probably not)

Anyways here's some things I've done in 2016.
(this is probably my most productive art year since 2013 lol. I seriously rarely do stuff...)

Spoiler: WIPs - progression

I'm currently working on my boyfriend's WoW character. This is my progress on it so far. The face is just about done, but I haven't even sketched out the body yet.. x-x

I also think this is actually my true drawing style or at least very similar to it. All the other drawings I did this year I was attempting to try different styles that strayed from my own. So now I think I'm going to try to just improve my current style and get better at it rather than trying to do something else.

Update on my current drawing. ^-^ I'm really happy with how it's turning out so far! I still need to work on the head a bit more, but right now I decided to tackle the hardest part... the armor. rip

There's still so much to be done but I'm so satisfied with how much progress I made today. Also I'm seriously proud of the shading on that fist thing. It's like literally the best shading I have ever done ever. x)

I LOVE READING ABOUT CASE STUDIES AND WIPs, so it was pretty cool to see what you did with your WoW character drawing to get to where you are with it now.

Also, I think this is a great resolution:

While trying a lot of different styles is a good thing (and I definitely enjoyed looking at all the different pieces in your gallery OP), I heard that it's best if an artist finds their own path and continues to grow from there. With that being said, I'm eager to see what place you'll be at in the future! I think your work shows a lot of promise :-]

Good luck with completing the armor, by the way! The fist shading looks great, so I'm sure you'll be able to deliver ;-]

Thank you so much for your nice comment it really means a lot to me. c: The main reason why I was attempting different styles was because I didn't really like my own. A lot of people I've noticed draw things super cute, and sometimes I'm a little bit envious of that lol. But now I'm trying my best to embrace how I draw things and improve at it instead of trying to do something that isn't true to how I really am as an artist.

Part of me is really paranoid that I won't be able to improve. But I guess I'll never improve if I don't practice so I'm just going to try to stay motivated and keep at it. It really means the world to me you think my work has promise. c:
