Is there a way to end the day, i'm ready to move on and it seems there is nothing to do at night time, I own a bed inside my tent but i'm not sure what I can do. I've met everyone in town made some money, but I want to start on the next day how could I do so?

You can "Time Travel" to the next day by saving and quitting, then at the main menu, select "Continue", your character's name, "I need help first..." and then select changing the date and time, then move the clock forward a day. EDIT - You can change the time as well if you like.
No problem, but to help ya: at night is a good time to fish or hunt for bugs that only come out during those hours!
