i was playing city flok for old time sake and one time i was able to get inside there house
when they were out and there was no lights and no one there,
i tried to enter a second time but it was closed

it was weird is it some glitch or some small thing?
did you guys ever experienced that

I don't quite think that's a glitch. I remember in Animal Crossing for the GameCube you could also go into their houses without them being there.

It must have been Christmas Eve (December 24th). That's the only time you can do that in City Folk, because Jingle can be found inside villagers' homes as he's delivering presents.

That reminds me of a funny glitch that happens in the Gamecube edition, when you enter a house a couple of seconds before the villagers sleep time. For example, a normal personality villager goes to sleep at 9:00 pm if you enter a couple of seconds before the time they fall asleep at 8:59 PM when the 8pm music fades out to 9pm music, you can see their lights turn off but you can still enter their house if you did everything correctly. The lights are all off and the villager has totally vanished! If you do go outside then, and try to re-enter they'll have the sign that they're asleep.

Yeah the only time I recall being able to go into a villager's house on City Folk is on Christmas Eve, when you can go into houses to find Jingle. Other than that, no, there is no way to go into their house without them being in there.

I like visiting the villagers houses when they are sleeping, and you wake them and they are surprised
