Error 2115-0064 when trying to scan amiibos into facilities + houses

Anyone else getting this? I can scan amiibo perfectly fine at the amiibo phones in the cafe, happy home paradise planning building as well as the resident services, but for some reason I get this error when trying to add characters into the facility. I was wondering if this is a known glitch of some sort because it only happens when trying to add characters into a facility or home.
