Hi! I was just playing my Pokémon Legends: Arceus game and an error message popped up saying game card couldn’t be read and it closed the game out on me. Luckily I just saved, so I’m okay with that, but um, has anyone else had this problem? Also is it normal for the Switch to do that with games? If it has happed to you, how did you fix it?

Never mind! It looks like no one knows the answer to this question. That’s totally fine! When I think about it now, I may have bumped my Switch by accident and it caused to game cartridge to come loose, therefore causing the error that it couldn’t read the game card to come up. Silly me. xD

If it does not read sometimes it may because of the region. I know this thread is about switch but to answer @Newleafkid22 3DS games are region locked so unless you got the right region which is a little hard to tell it just will not read.

Also for the original stuff on this thread my switch does the same! Some times a little bump will make it not read so I hope it got sorted out! Dont worry :D

What if the 3DS game is like in British English and your 3DS is just regular English, will it still read?

I do not think so. If it does not have an E than it wont work on the English/American 3DS. I have a European game that has the Pegi sign and it does not work. I also have tried the A games from Japan I think its cero or something and it doesnt work. Also the other European sign does NOT work. 3DS is region locked. The only games I know work on a USA system that is NOT a USA system game is the world edition games.
