i dont have any links but as someone who used to buy plushies from etsy nonstop i do have some tips!!
so just by looking up animal crossing plush, you'll usually get a boatload of results.
there's the mass produced bootlegs of some popular characters (raymond, marshall, judy, etc. though recently one of pietro has shown up and im pretty psyched) they're the cheapest, though I've seen them even cheaper on like allieexpress. i don't know how good their quality is though. im guessing is pretty meh?
then there's all of the custom plush shops, all of which have different names but seem to produce pretty much the same products at the same price, and are all mostly in the ukraine. i have ordered from ukraine toy shops several times and my experience has been less than great. from the bigger shops, sellers would disappear often and i once waited for maybe 6+ months without any contact from the seller. personally the plushies i got from them were pretty ehh as well, and rushed, but honestly still worth the price given how cheap they are (most being only $50 - 80) but it's kind of a gambling game. i much rather suggest smaller stops who are run by individuals, and not these sometimes lowkey sketchy toy shops
there are a FEW custom plush sellers on etsy run by individuals who make high quality plushies but their prices will be much higher (like $100-300) if you're someone with money to spare that doesn't mind spending that much on a toy, they're your best bet. i have only purchased a plush from one professional plush artist as my budget scarcely ever could support a purchase like that (TRAGICALLY pff) and it was my best buying experience on etsy and really with plushes in general. look them up-- dappermoosestudio! they're on etsy, insta and twitter. super responsive seller, great work and pretty dang fast too. of course, many custom plush makers are booked up on orders and it can be a bit of a wait so keep that in mind
and lastly, my favorite option, the animal crossing CROCHET plushies on etsy. these are usually the cheapest (IN MOST CASES... I have seen some very expensive ones scattered throughout) and from what ive seen, always come from individual and responsive sellers. there's a seller who is making custom AC crochet plushies for like, between $45-60 and they're at least 10 inches tall which is a real deal. i cant remember their name, but if you look up animal crossing crochet plush on etsy, they'll show up, as well as many others. crochet plushies are a bit more delicate, but they're still very cute and i adore them.
if you want to find actual custom plush makers, i have found that it's tricky to find them on etsy, so try looking up plush commissions or plush makers on twitter and instagram. lexiipantz (i think that's her name lol) opens commissions again soon, and she does great AC plushies. Again, this is a more pricey option
hopefully this rambling helps you on your plush quest, i understand your struggle. why couldn't my favs be the popular characters with the plethora of bootlegs :,(
