Events in the summer

I just got these ideas for events in this game that could happen in the summer.

The first one is an event where you have to build the largest sand castle and that you win a rare piece of furniture at the end of the day if you win.

The second one should involve having to swim as 1 or more players swimming to a goal along with the other villagers.

Afterwards you could win a rare item like a special k.k song that can only be obtained this way.

Scavenging for the biggest clams to help make a huge pot of clam soup could also be an interesting event to have if they implement it.

What other ideas do you have for summer events in this game besides mine and what do you think about my ideas?

Interesting ideas, I really like the one with the sand castle, would be funny if you could use the touchscreen
to build (or more like draw?) the castle.

What could be also fun is making fruit baskets, like collecting in a certain time as much different fruits as
possible and win the price as the best fruit basket.

A cool idea I thought would be nice is to have a weekly water-balloon fight.

On a specific day of each week during the summer, you can participate in the water-balloon fight against all the other villagers on the island. Each villager is given the exact amount of water-balloons needed to hit all the villagers. Then its a free-for-all where you have to be the first villager to hit everyone who is participating in the game. The winner can earn themselves a trophy and maybe a rare fish.

I really like these ideas. To me the more events you can participate in, the funner the game.would be like the GCN Animal Crossing. I like the idea of building a sand castle, the swimming competition and throwing water ballons at eacg other. I wish Nintendo read some of these ideas and incorporated them into the game.

Maybe they can add a volley ball mini game too?
