- 1 is the only natural number to be neither prime nor composite.
- 2 and 5 are the only prime numbers to end with a "2" or "5".
- 4 is the first one's digit number to be part of a composite number. 3 is the last.
- 6 is the first number to have 2 prime factors.
- 9 is the first odd number to be a composite number.
- 4 is the only number in English to have the same number of letters as its value.
- Of the first 100 numbers, 89 and 98 are the two numbers where the palindrome exists after over 10 iterations.
- The first number to have an "a" in the word is 1,000.
- 2002 is the last palindromic year. The next palindromic year is 2112.
- 2013 is the first year since 1987 where none of the digits repeat.
- 1961 is the last year that can be read upside down. The next year is 6119.
- 2048 is the next composite number year with only one prime factor.
- If the sum of the digits of a number is 3, 12, 21, 30, or any number like that, then you need to subtract 3 from the actual number to get a number divisible by 9.
