Fairy core advice

I started my island with a new idea, and concept, but I'm not sure about doing a fairy core, or advice? I sorta want it a bit rural, but still pretty fairy core.

I made this large floral dirt path, but I'm not sure what else to do? I have some ideas. Normally I'd ask if people could come to my island, but my switch wifi isnt working

So, any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Also, is it better to have villager that git a theme, or just random ones?

I don't know a whole ton about doing a themed island or anything, but I would suggest it's probably a good idea to have at least some villagers who fit the theme as it helps to make the theme more obvious. This can be either the villagers themselves or more focused on their house exteriors to make them "fit" the island. However I don't think it's required to have all 10 of the villagers fit the theme strictly though but that could just be my opinion.

When it comes to fairycore my mind tends to think about a lot of pastel colours throughout especially with the flowers. On my island I’m sticking with pink, white, blue and purple flowers as well as lots of glowing lights. Although I have added black flowers for a small overgrown secret cemetery which I’m liking a lot so far.

Weirdly enough my island is actually a magiccore theme with hints of mermaid, fairy and witch with an overall tropical/forestcore vibe. I’ve seen a lot of islands with those themes do magical groves with pentagram flooring in the middle. I’ve also seen a lot of ponds in the shape of a crescent moon too which when done right looks gorgeous.

My main pick would be Mush Lamps for a more magical forest vibe, Nova lamps & Crescent Moon Chairs for celestial or the Shell Lamp for a magical mermaid vibe.

Well that’s what I’m aiming to use around my island once I’ve collected the Nova and Mush Lamp DIY’s.

What do you personally think of when you think of fairies? Do you think of old pre-Grimm fairy tale fey? More Tinkerbell? Or something in-between?

I'm basically just playing around with ideas, but definitely not Tinker bell fairies
