Fastest way to earn bells?

In NL I'd go to the island at night to hunt beetles but now I can't do that, any tips for money-making in this version? Please and thanks!

If you have a lot of flowers, I'm finding my goto way of making quick bells is by catching Peacock Butterflies. They sell for 2500 Bells and you can quickly fill up your pockets with them.

for me, the fastest way is fishing and bug catching - i’ll sell peacock butterflies, paper kite butterflies, red snappers, football fish, etc for a good profit

Haven't been to it myself (Which I'm fine with) but heard people are getting on tarantula-filled islands, so if you're feeling lucky you can try finding that island around the night time and making some cash from selling them?

Tarantulas.

after 7PM. Go to any island with a lot of open space. Remove all flora, trees, rocks and debris. Bring a net and catch as many tarantulas as possible.

Store them outside or in your house.
Repeat.

When Flick visits, sell him your tarantulas.


Or you can go fishing. In the evening, you can make an average of about 100k an hour just fishing in the ocean. Catching any fish you see.

Tarantula islands. You can either get lucky and come across one, or make an island into one on your own but it's very tedious.

Of course, you can always trade TBT for IGB on the forums if you want quick bells.

I've done the tarantula trick on two different island layouts, and both times, came back with my pockets full in less than 2 hours. Currently having 38 in storage, waiting for Flick to arrive on my island.
