Ignoring the profitability that a season may posses, what is everyone's favorite season in Animal Crossing games?

My personal favorite season is Winter. I enjoy the blanket of snow that cover the town and the holidays, such as Toy Day and New Year's, that occur with it. New Leaf certainly added more to winter with the snowflakes and different kinds of snowmen that you could build, though I can agree with the sentiment that winter does outstay its welcome with the lack of the bugs. Nevertheless, I enjoy the serenity of all in all of the games, and even when I do grow tired of it, I wind up missing it as the snow finally melts.

Least favorite season is probably Spring. While I don't dislike any of the seasons, Spring lacks the bounty of activities that Summer holds and you get the green environment in Summer as well.

I honestly prefer summer since I like bugs and fish, so the best time to catch all of them is in either July-August. The cicada sounds are also pleasant to hear.

Just like IRL, I love fall and winter so much. The town looks just looks beautiful with the color change in fall and winter feels very cosy. Besides, I love how the campsite is a igloo instead of a tent.

Summer because there is more to do in the summer in my opinion (more bugs and fish are out). I get bored easily in the winter. Fall and spring are at least pretty.

Spring, just like in real life.

I like aspects of the others as well, but Spring is the season I look forward to and enjoy the most. Something about the atmosphere seems so full of promise.

I love both spring and summer because it's so green and pretty, but I had to go with summer as my favorite because I love when the hydrangea bushes bloom.

There’s something about the esthetic of New Leaf in Spring that feels cozy to me. Anytime there’s a thunderstorm mixed with music is just MMMMM. Super cozy.

for me it's summer, just like in real life because in general there's more to do. bug-offs, summer fireworks, and there's rare bugs and fish i can catch for my villagers to boost friendship. i also love how green and fresh the grass and trees look, it looks beautiful. a close second is winter!

it's a tie for me between spring and fall. i love the trees in the spring, and that's when the game seems to become "alive" after winter, and fall for the colors and the nostalgia i feel for it

Same. It's a tie between fall and winter, but slightly leaning to winter.
I love how the trees turn to warm colors. It feels pretty and relaxing to be in there.
And love how it makes sound on the ground when you walk outside when it's snowing. This along with the music when it's snowing makes me feel calm and forgiven. And yes! the igloo! I love seeing it too.
Winter is the best season to me.

I'd say my favorite is probably Fall, as it is in real life as well. I like the colors of the ground and trees, and we have holidays like Halloween and the Harvest Festival which are fun. My second favorite would be Winter since I like the snow, it's nice to build snowpeople, you have events like Toy Day and New Year's, and I prefer the igloo at the campsite over the tent.

I'm not a fan of Summer in real life, but it's pretty good in Animal Crossing due to the bugs and fish you can catch. Spring, meanwhile, is the least interesting for me.

I love winter in Animal Crossing. It doesn't snow where I am from, so its the only time to "play" in it.
Most of my ACNL screenshots have been from winter with the aurora sky because it's the prettiest thing..

Definitely summer! This may be because I first started playing ACNL in summer 2013, so I have the most fond memories of that season. I just love it though. With all the bugs and fish around, the world just feels much more lively. Also I hate winter in real life, so I'm not too fond of it in Animal Crossing, either.

I like spring because of the cherry blossoms petals you see when walking around your town. It calms me a lot to see the beauty of it. Wish I could see the real version of cherry blossoms for myself. :[

I like summer in real life more, but in ac I hate it because of the nonstop raining. I keep forwarding my game and every day now all I've been seeing is rain. :(

I like rain once in a while and I'd love to see a strong thunderstorm in the game, but it's annoying, at least to me, having to see nothing but dark weather.

I haven't experienced snowy weather yet, since i haven't forwarded time that much, so I can't say if I'll like it here, but I do agree that there's a lot more to do then and seeing lit up trees is fun.

Both spring and summer.
I like spring because of the sakuras, of course, but I prefer summer because of the fishes/insects.
There are so many of them and catching fishes/bugs is one of my favorite aspect of the game.
That's why I don't like winter; no bugs, and I hate the snowman game with a passion.

In the original Animal Crossing, my favorite season is winter. I really like the igloos that spring up everywhere in town. Also, the snow music is really calming, although unfortunately I can't find it at all on Youtube due to Nintendo going back to their roots and nuking anything which contains their music.

In New Leaf I prefer autumn, specifically the time when trees turn red. I think the season works very well with that game's art style.

Fall because ~aesthetics~. It's also my favorite season irl because I'm a spooky goth stereotype, but in game I like the palette way more. I'm impatient for the grass/plants to coordinate better with my paths! The current blue-green is particularly hard to work with.

Winter! I just love the snow in both real life and in Animal Crossing. I can't really get to see snow very much in real life due to where I live, but at least I get to see it in Animal Crossing! So I'm at least happy for that. :)
