Favorite starter fruit?

Apples, Cherries, Peaches, Pears, and Oranges - What are your favorite starter island fruits?

For me, they're apples, pears, and oranges.

My favorite is peaches and then Oranges, apples and pears. Cherries I don’t care for since I don’t like them irl.

My ranking preference:
-Apples (my favorite fruit IRL, I love how they taste AND look and they say "cozy small town" to me- they were my sister fruit in this game)
-Peaches (my second favorite fruit IRL, they're also pretty cute, but not as cute as apples- they were my starter fruit in this game)
-Cherries (don't actually like them IRL, but they're just cute and classic)
-Oranges (like 'em okay IRL and in the games)
-Pears (like 'em more IRL then in the games- I just prefer more color on my trees)

I love pears and peaches. I think pears blend nicely with a lot of different island themes. But the only fruit I don't like is oranges since they look tropical and make no sense in the winter. Then again, all the fruit trees and flowers look kind of silly with the snow.

I have pears in this game. The first time I made my island I got something else. I can't remember, but it was late at night the day the game launched. I picked the game up, but had a lot of chores to finish. I just got way too tired that night and closed without saving. So I got pears the second time and I was too lazy to bother trying again.

I kind of like all the fruit. It all looks nice, except maybe oranges because they're just circles. But I actually like the taste of peaches, cherries, and oranges the most. So if I had a choice, probably peach or cherry, but I settled with pear and they're fine.

My favourite starter fruit are apples as it's the one I've had as a starter in every game since WW and I really like apples in general, pears and cherries are my second favourite as I like their designs. I like having all the fruit in my game but my least favourite is the peach as it's the only one that I don't like irl.

I looooooved apples in NL because the perfect fruit version of it is just gorgeous. I really hope they bring back perfect fruits, haha. But if we aren't including that, then I love peaches! Though, I have a soft spot for cherries because that's what was in the original movie!!

I love both apples and cherries, especially back in new leaf the perfect versions made me like them even more. I guess I like the red fruits the best.

I do like apples and agree that perfect apples were just gorgeous i like most fruits and it is always a kind of obsession to get all the fruits. I do miss some of the new leaf fruits such as lemons and do wish that perfect fruit would come back

Oranges. Nothing against peaches, but after I had them in both City Folk and New Leaf, I was looking for a change of pace. Also, oranges was a self reference to a dream I had as a small child.

It's peaches for sure! I really like how they look (pink & yellow look so lovely together) and they're super yummy irl too. My favourite fruit however is oranges, which is also my main island's native fruit. :3 On my second island I restarted until I got peaches.

I love peaches! Every time I restart my island I always have to have peaches. But this time I think I got tired of resetting and settled for cherries.

I like peaches and oranges. Peaches because irl their trees are beautiful (and peaches are delicious) and oranges because I like the pop of orange in-game, and orange trees make me think of Seville and just warm sunny place in general.

I really like Apples and Cherries personally. Especially their perfect fruit variants in New Leaf, would love to see an HD rendering of them in New Horizons some day.

My island has apples as its native fruit. Was disappointed to discover that perfect fruit wasn't a mechanic in this game because perfect apples looked really nice in New Leaf and I imagine they'd be really awesome with New Horizons' graphics.

Since perfect fruit isn't in this game though, my favorite of the fruits would have to be the cherries. I just find their design really pleasant.
