what are your favorite villager names? personally, i love kidd?s spanish name, cabralex being a mix of cabra (goat) and alex. also the squid sisters callie and marie being cece and viche, ceviche (seafood dish)!

oh wow i?ve never heard of that before! i feel like most villager names are unique or at least a reference to something that im unaware of.

I'm partial to the name Sterling because one of my nephew's is also named Sterling.

I think the names Freya, Olivia, Opal, Pashmina, Pekoe, and Yuka are all very pretty.

For puns, I love that a lot of the mice are named after different kinds of cheese.

I like the name Monique for some reason, like I just like how it sounds lol, also merengue is a cute name because I love food names lol! I know there's more I like but I can't think of hem right now, sadly I don't know most of the non English names because I always forget them, Isabelle isn't a villager obviously but I think her Japanese name Shizu? is cute! Also her English name is kinda funny too since it's like Is A Bell and her head looks like a bell bag so for some reason that's hilarious to me right now even though it's not like I just figured this out, why does it sound so funny right now help, and like everyone knows this it's not a new realization
EDIT: how did I forget ?toile?! That's one of my absolute favorites when it comes to name because I like to say it even though I don't have any clue if I'm saying it right lol, I always say it as Eh Twell or soemthing like that lol it's probably wrong XD I just googled the pronunciation and am just now learning it is French for star and that is precious, it's kind of close to how I've read it but with more of an O sound, the video I just watched for it was really creepy sounding though lol

Aside from the ones that are straight up human names, I like Chevre, Cousteau, Lucky (because he is clearly not Lucky lol), and Zucker

I really like Willow, Violet, Soleil, Rowan, Robin, Renee, Phoebe, Maple, Fauna, Ava, Astrid, Annalisa, and Annalise. They are all names I would name a child. Except Maple... but the name my husband and I really like is very close (Mabel).

It's a bit hard to choose since there are so many names! But for example I like Gladys, especially since it reminds me of GLaDOS and Willow since it reminds me of another name I quite like. Poppy, Marcel and Nana are nice names too.
