I have an extremely vivid memory of eating cheese puffs dipped in cannoli dip with my (ex) best friend. I also remember eating ketchup and rice, but I did NOT like that combo :/

Potato chips (crisps for you european savages) and pizza. A lot of people find this weird, but my family has always done it so I’ve never known any different. 🤷‍♀️

Repost time!

Chips and sour cream.
Chicken and mayonnaise.

I’m sure there’s more, but nothing that comes to mind right now.

Probably the strangest I like is ripple chips in tuna sandwiches. They provide a nice crunch, and the salt goes well with the tuna. I haven't had it in years so I don't know what I'd think of it now, but I used to eat it as a kid.

French fries and mayo <3
Also pizza with a bit of worcestershire sauce, amazing!
A lot of people find it weird that I add a pinch of salt to watermelon.... they don't understand how amazing this is because they've never tried it, their loss 🤷‍♀️

I also do the pizza + Worcestershire sauce thing, delicious 💖

This isn’t too unusual, but I refuse to dip French fries in anything other than ranch dressing. It just tastes right.

I like dipping tuna sandwiches in chili (as in chili con carne, not chili peppers). I never thought it sounded weird and when I told my dad about it he didn't think so either, but everyone else, including the person who first told me about it, initially thought it was weird when they heard it.

Also, when I make vegetable only salads, I'll use pickle juice instead of salad dressing.

Hot dogs and grape jelly or with applesauce. It's an acquired taste that no one probably wants to acquire.

Sounds like an atrocity I so WANT to try! My bf really likes jelly, so I think he'd be down to try it as well lol I'm not a fan of jelly, so I'd probably try it with the applesauce, I feel like this might reduce the saltines of the hotdog 🙆‍♀️
Rice and banana. Fries and vanilla ice cream.
Dude yaassssss rice and a banana is amazing! Especially if the banana is really ripe making it super sweet 💖

I think it’s the same kind of idea as with ketchup, some sweetness to counter the salt. I don’t like ketchup though, so what do I know! Hope you enjoy it :)

I'm not a fan of this one, but I've seen several people here in TX add salted peanuts to their Coca-Cola or Dr.Pepper .-. I've never tried it, but if they like it, more power to them 🙆‍♀️
