It reminds me a lot of Earthbound, or the Mother series. I think it's actually supposed to resemble Earthbound, since Ness (the main character) has an ability that's called "PK Rockin". It also plays music similar to the "fight music" in earthbound.

Love all K.K. Slider's songs that are easy to whistle. The whole Animal Crossing series has perfect whistling music.
My favourite has got to be K.K. Cruisin' and K.K. Soul. Both the live and aircheck versions.

I like K.K disco and K.K Rockabilly, they don't have to be secret songs for me to like them at this point it goes more with my own personal taste I usually always have one room playing Bubblegum or things that sound retro and upbeat as that's my type of music anyway. Sometimes I will get a song I don't have and really like it I think it was Ragtime or one that really fits a room like imperial style. I have one town where right after my birthday I finally had all the songs and got my K.K badge but just one.
