Feedback on my waterscaping please?

Hey guys,

So I just unlocked terraforming today and of course I'm very excited, but I'm super nervous too. I'm not very artistic, so all of this doesn't come naturally to me.

Eventually I want to redesign the shape of my whole river, but I just started small for now. I wanted more space in the northern area of my island, so I dropped the river down and made it run just behind my shops and RS. So you're looking at the branch of the river directly behind RS. Do you think it looks ok? Pretty natural? Eventually I want to extend the 2nd and 3rd levels up in that top right section, but I'm just focusing on the river for now.

It’s always easiest to see these things in person, but just based on the map I think it looks perfectly natural.

Thanks Fey! Yeah, we definitely need to visit each others islands soon! Unfortunately mine will probably be a bit of a mess for a while, but I'd still love to have you. Hopefully on my next days off.

I'll add a few pictures of the river in game to my original post. It's where it connects to the ocean, the rest of the river, and a section of the middle.
