Fernhollow Island

Hi there! Welcome to Fernhollow Island

I'm new to the forums though I've been playing ACNH for about half a year now. I'll be posting screenshots of my Islands progress here and celebrating little achievements.

Fernhollow is a name I've used a few times, namely in my Stardew Valley saves, or as the surname of various Elder Scrolls OCs. It just feels comfy to me.​

I'll start with the very first screenshot I have of my island, from before I had the museum unlocked and needed somewhere to throw my feeeeesh.

But then I'll literally skip RIGHT TO THE CURRENT DAY because I don't have the attention span right now to detail the entire history of the island

Here's the current map of the island!
In terms of villagers, I'm thinking of letting Benjamin, Penelope, and maybe Raymond go - but I'm not certain just yet.
Vic, Rodeo, and Daisy are definitely here to stay, as well as Ankha.

The entranceway up from the airport is where I've been showing off my flowers - I only need to breed blue roses and green mums and the collection will be complete!

The vege garden is coming along nicely - loving the pergola. Trying to figure out the terrain around it to get everything just how I like it, but still keep plenty of plots open for crops.

In contrast, I do in fact have a secret lab/magitech basement that is used for entirely legal and not at all questionable or morally grey purposes, please do not tell Tom Nook.

It's hard work keeping a lab like this in order, okay?

Aaaaaand lastly for now...
Hanging out in the evening with of my favs - the only villager on my island that I've built a vacay home for so far.

So yes, welcome to Fernhollow, there is much more to see but this will do for now

I reworked the bedroom recently and it makes me happy! Wanted to share it, I'm loving a lot of the new items from the Paradise Planning service. The elegant set is so so nice.

And I've destroyed a large portion of the local ecosystem, namely a part of the river that was taking up a heaaaap of space. Got rid of two bridges and now I have this huuuuge track of open land that I have no idea what I'm gonna do with. Might move Phoebe's house and perhaps one other? hmmm....

If you've got any ideas for what else I could put up here then please feel free to suggest! ​
