I recently decided a few days ago that I didn't like anything about my town so I uh, completely bulldozed it

So far I've redone all my paths, all my buildings are in place, but there's several small spaces in between areas that I'm just unsure of what to do with.

I'm wondering what you guys do to fill space in your town. I have a neighborhood area, a giant moon lake, small town square/fountain areas, two orchards, flower breeding fields, and a fake farm set up, but I still somehow have empty space left to fill lol.

*EDIT* ALSO what to do with my beaches?? They're empty besides a campground area..

I'd put things like Iron Garden Tables and Chairs and little Stalls for a more urban environment.

perhaps add a surfing location on the beach? (like some surfboards + a stall selling coconut juice or something lol)

I like to add pots and plants if it fits your aesthetic. If you've got an empty space by a river you could have a clothes washing mini-section.

Hey guys I have a question (I know this probs isn't the place), but do you recommend putting the same flower (same type and color) in a place or do you put multiple types but the same colors, I really want to know this.

I love decorating my beaches! More so than the actual land sometimes,
Some areas I’ve added on my beaches are: a beach bbq, a boardwalk area, a general area for the beach related items (beach towels, beach ball, lifeguard chair, surfboards etc), a tiki bar, a fishing area (near the dock) and a little seaside market

I don't like to do too much repetition. I like the have variety without being too colorful (pops of color but primarily sticking to the more natural/subdued looking flowers. But keep in mind that I am very much into a natural look. Some people come up with some really beautiful floral designs using all sort of colors and blending the flowers together seamlessly.

I typically like to use the same type of flower in two to three different colors together, but it depends. My paths are lined with orange and black tulips, and I have a flower field of pink, yellow, and white tulips. The flowers outside my villager's homes are black roses and purple mums in a checkerboard pattern and I think it looks great!

Some flowers I personally don't like together or don't use at all! I probably wouldn't mix hyacinths with my roses, and I don't like how lilies look so I don't have any in my town.

You can get really creative with flower combinations!! I see lots of towns with nothing but pink, white, and purple flowers which is great if you want the pastel aesthetic, but I think it looks really interesting and new if you use contrasting colors together like orange and blue, or yellow and purple flowers together!

Hello!
I basically designed my town with small spaces in mind. I really like to cramp locals together, and it creates a nice aesthetic. I hope the following pictures help!

I made this small gym/ jock hangout area. It's 3 spaces, so it's REALLY packed in.

I had a bit of extra space to where I was putting my rocks. I decided to make a gardening center!

This apple orchard is compact too. It only holds 12 or so apple trees. It's great if you have a farming area (or need to make extra bells on the side)

Looking for EVEN SMALLER SPACES? I put a log bench in some empty space. Visitors can sit on it and enjoy a nice beverage. To the left I put a mini garden, since I still had 1 tile of space.

Street lamps or park clocks are always good fillers if you ask me, depending on the size of the space of course. If not, if you have any spare statues or a fountain could be nice!
