Well, I've been enjoying Sacred Stones all this time, and now I've finally decided to get the first in the series, plainly titled Fire Emblem. I can't find it new, so I'm getting it used, in perfect condition, for $20. I REALLY wanted a nice and fat RPG, and this will satisfy my cravings.

Has anyone ever played it?

I never played it but i think my friend has. he said it was good.

I consider Path of Radiance to be the third best game of all time... The two Fire Emblem's I've played come EXTREMELY close to perfect, and since no game is perfect...

:p

Well, I got FE7 two days ago, and I just finished Lyn's story. I must say, this game is worth much more than I payed for...

Fire Emblem is one of the greatest games ever made. Better then any RPG imo.

The next one has the best story I've ever seen...the sad thing is that I'm stuck on it.

Barte is the stronger axe man

Heck, ALL of the FE games are some of the best ever made. They're just that good... They rank up with Zelda and Mario, right up there. Giffca would own Barte, though.

:p

I had it and beat it... but the first in the series was on the NES, about 16 years ago. Sacred Stones is shorter, but it has free-roaming. For avid fans of FE, SS is a blemish on the face of the series.

 I kinda agree, FE7 (FE for the GBA) was much better, and the Super Nintendo titles looked awesome, like Thracia 776.
