First house location

Ok, I finally got a layout that I`m happy with, but a villager is living right in the same spot where I want to put my house Is there anyway to get them to move? I`ve been resetting for a layout like this for about a day and a half Any help will be appreciated!

Unfortunately, there is no way to get them to move. I hope you're able to find another house placement in your town; I was in the same situation with my town but I eventually found another good placement, and now it's fine.

are you able to upload a photo of your map? there must be another spot to choose from? or near the villager?
does anyone know if you delete your main character does the next character villager become mayor? if so you could wait till the villager leaves, make a second character and move in and delete main character?

You cant delete the main character, the only way to change your mayor is to reset the town.

I see I ended up picking another spot for my house since I worked so hard for the layout
