i'm using sleaky's method and so far no dice. i always pull up at least SIX seabass. i really hope nintendo nerfs the spawn rates in the future, i just want my mahi mahi and giant trevally

Aaah, sea bass. They are eternal. (Unfortunately, I don’t think they’re getting nerfed, because if Nintendo wanted to they would have at some point since Wild World. My hope is they at least get USEFUL with the cooking update.)

I thoroughly enjoy fishing, I do it constantly. But my hatred of seabass has not lessened in the 14 years Ive been playing this stupid game. Im really feeling for you, I wish you an easy catch with as few sea bass as possible

ah, don't remind me. i have to catch one more trevally to have enough for the model, and it's the last thing i need for creatures that disappear after this month. i don't think i have a lot of fish bait built up either, so i'll have to work on that too rip.

No lie, it took me around 400 pieces of bait to get either of them to spawn. The Giant Trevally was by and far the worst.
I can't wait until 2.0. I hope to god there's a sea bass recipe so I can finally fry up those annoying little pests.
