Regarding the whole TTing back a day doesn't count, it does count, and let me explain in the ways it does. If a villager says they're moving date is 5 days from today, and you TT back and forth between 2 days, they'll move out after you've TT'ed 5 times. I'm not sure how it affects the time between how often a villager wants to move though. Wilted flowers will remain wilted and unwatered if you travel back a day. Unwatered wilted flowers will not disappear if you TT backwards either. Same goes for bamboo shoots in the ground, trees, and bushes, they will not grow if you're TTing backwards.
