Flower help.

So. I was told that getting specific flowers/planting them on your island unlocks them in the store. This is not true. My store still only sells tulips, hyacinths, and cosmos.

I cannot get it to sell roses, lilies, or wind flowers despite planting them on my island (all found via trades with other people), getting seeds from other people and planting them that way, selling the flower itself, I even tried WEARING them, did not work..

My mystery island tours only ever have tulips, cosmos, and hyacinths. Anyone know what the deal is with this? I am considering completely redoing my entire town as it will be very hard to fill my island with flowers I like if I don't, the only real option looks like trading with people and waiting for them to spread/grow...

I’m actually kind of wondering the same. I only have mums, hyacinths and tulips. All of my friends have almost the same combination of flowers and I haven’t encountered any different ones on a mystery island.

Pansies and Windflowers; sure, they're pretty, but I'd really like some variety soon...
My store's only been carrying Windflowers, Pansies, and Tulips. It's only sold hyacinths once before, and that was before I built Nook's Cranny.
I'm wondering if more flowers will become available as you progress, so I'm not gonna stress it too much. Still, I'd love to find some roses eventually.

I “beat” the main story and have nookling shop final upgrade. Has not changed sadly. Another “update” thing maybe?
