Trading For or Buying Stitches

I've had the worst luck with this bear, it's unbelievable.
I've had 7 trades fall through, 3 get cancelled, or I've messaged people willing to give him away only to be ignored. I've been scammed twice. And just now my DS died directly after a trade where I thought I finally had him. So someone has my 30m, and I don't have Stitches.

However, I'm very, very reluctant to give up on this bear. If anyone has him, I'll offer any of my villagers (check sig). As well as some others that aren't listed. (PM me). I can also offer bells.

argh i feel so bad for you!! i won him in a giveaway, so i never had to go through the hassle of auctions. i really hope you get him - its not fun being scammed and losing trades!!

What? Please specify what occured. "And just now my DS died directly after a trade where I thought I finally had him. So someone has my 30m, and I don't have Stitches." Cause when your DS dies, the it doesnt save regardless so your money should be back in your account. Unless it saved, then your DS died, then you TTed to check if stitches is moving in, however his plot didnt appear, meaning the game has glitched, where you have a wait a day in real time for stitches' plot to appear.

Cause when your DS dies, the it doesnt save regardless so your money should be back in your account. It saved, yeah. But for some reason (and I TT'd a week ahead to make sure) I didn't get Stitches despite the fact that I talked to him and he said he'd move in.

1) Talked to Stitches
2) Traded 30m (with minor wi-fi problems)
3) DS died directly after the trading, as the text saying it was time to go home scrolled across my screen.
4) Restarted game, walked around my town, no plot. (after TTing forward a day)
5) Repeated the process above throughout the course of a week. Didn't have Stitches.

I just went back to the town where I had traded, talked to Stitches again, and TT'd a day forward again. I still don't have Stitches despite the fact that he said he would move to my town.

No no, they were super nice about it. I got to go back and talk to him, he's just still not moving in.

That's really strange that he didn't move in when you talked to him again.. is this person at least willing to give you your money back?
