I joined and immediately started to write paragraphs on here lol.
Anyways, the other day I was thinking that I missed forums and that stuff (it's a shame they're are being lost and that now internet is just like 4 websites and discord....) so I thought that instead of sitting and whining, I should join one and be the change I want to see in the world lol

You can call me Michi! So far my little experience in this forum has been good, everyone is so friendly and I'm very happy to see how active it is! I can't wait to participate on its activities and such, they seem very fun ^^
English isn't my native language and I tend to never proofread, so sorry if I suddenly make up words or if my sentences have a weird structure at times. Also I'm pretty bad at 1 on 1 conversations, but I'm good at writing essays on the most trivial things in animal crossing. Nice to meet you!!

(Oh, also I have played every AC game to this day. Currently I'm focusing on ACGC and ACNL, and ACWW is my personal favorite)

Hello, and welcome to the community. This is definitely one of the more active forums. I do agree with you. It’s a shame forums are slowly dying and social media is taking over. I wish we could go back to the days where forums were big. This site holds events often so it shouldn’t be too long before the next one.

It’s nice to see how talkative you are! This site is super friendly for the most part. I am glad you are enjoying your time here, and I hope you stick around. Also, your English isn’t bad. In fact, it’s better than most English speakers, lol.

Welcome, Michi! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ I definitely understand how you feel about forums—I've always done better on them; I can't keep up with the pace of Discord and things like that. As for AC, I haven't played some of the earlier games, but I'm still actually playing New Leaf myself!
Any favorites amongst the villagers you've had?

My favorite villagers are poppy and muffy!! And when I was little my favorite was friga in acww, I remember I hated rhonda with a burning passion because she replaced friga when she moved out lol (same with peggy, who replaced poppy in accf, I played both games at pretty much the same time)

Hello and welcome to The Bell Tree aka TBT!

Your English is good! It is not my native language as well, but I tend to get mistakes often.

Hello, and welcome to the Bell Tree! :) Your English is fine: believe it or not, it's not my first language either! :ROFLMAO: As long as people generally know what you mean, they'll usually forgive you for small mistakes. And this community is definitely forgiving: if they're patient enough to deal with my diagnosed autistic brand of awkwardness, then they're definitely patient enough with you.

I kind of prefer forums as well, as you can just think about what you want to say for longer then in a chat like on Discord. Group chats sometimes just that bit too fast for me to properly join in on the conversation. And there's somehow just more thoughtful conversations here then on other social media like Facebook. I dunno, not to be rude, but I just like something a little more substantial then a photo of someone's lunch with only the word 'Yum' in the actual text of the post. At least people bother with more then one-word sentences here.

Also, read in another post that you're a Muffy fan: you have good taste in villagers, she's one of my dream villagers. Gotta love the goth sheep. 💜

I'm on the same page about group chats, they're always too fast for me and when I came up with a response the subject has already changed, I haven't been able to able to actively join a chat in my life. Both are great for their own things, but I prefer how forums and blogging sites are structured, they're way more organized, you can take your time to write, and as you have said, they have more substance and you have to be a more creative (which is something I recently have decide to work on, instead of just mindlessly consuming stuff).

And yeah, muffy is super cute 💕💕 My town always end up half pastel half goth because I love both aesthetics and cant pick one :'p
