I was in the Re-Tail forum on here and noticed that someone who had started a thread to sell items had responded to their thread. I'm interested in some of their items and had made a post saying so earlier today. I clicked the "Go to last post" arrow but when the page came up it didn't take me to the newest post. It just took me to the thread's page and
the seller's response wasn't showing up. The last post I could see was the post I made earlier. There's no second page that I can see either.

Then another weird thing happened. I came in here to make this post and noticed someone had responded to a thread I had started a few days ago. I had meant to close the thread and forgot. I posted that I was closing the thread but when I went to go to Administrative Tools to actually close the thread the Admin Tools button wasn't there. I haven't tried to close a post in this section before so maybe there is no Admin Tools button but I don't know so I thought I should ask.

Is anyone else having issues like this? Does anyone know how I can fix them? I've cleared my history/cache already and I can't think of any thing else to try. Thanks!

Hard to describe this odd happening. In one of my subscribed threads, which I have refreshed a number of times, it says a certain member posted last, but in reality two people have posted since then. And the bold stays on in my subscribed threads list when usually after you go to the thread, the bold isn't there any more, showing that you have looked at that thread.

And my signature keeps disappearing and reappearing mysteriously.

The first issue sounds like a post glitch, usually after somebody else posts or after an unknown amount of time it’ll correct itself. The forum does that a bit, there isn’t a good fix.

The second issue isn’t a big issue, we only allow user to lock/close threads in certain boards so as to prevent abuse. You can report a thread and ask for it to be closed, but that’s not always a guaranteed thing.

You were right. The thread did sort itself out. I've never had that glitch before so I wasn't sure what to do.

That makes sense. I probably wouldn't have thought much of not being able to close the thread if the glitch hadn't already made me concerned. Thank you so much for the information! :)

Okay, so something else weird happened just a few minutes ago. I had my mouse pointer over TBT Marketplace. The words were underlined and bold. I clicked and the next screen that came up was Animal Crossing World. Now I know there is a tab for Animal Crossing World but it's higher up on the page and I know I was on TBT Marketplace.

Sometimes I think my laptop is haunted.

If you’re using a trackpad, sometimes your other fingers accidentally grazing it as you click can cause things like this.

I don't use the track pad. I use a wireless mouse. Neither of my hands was near the track pad when this happened. Thanks for the help though!
