Found Brewster but he never showed up

A while ago my daughter found Brewster on one of the Kappn’s islands. I’m not sure what we’ve answered him, we did receive a geroid fragment. But Brewster never showed up on our island. I’ve tried everything. Donated each item as island representative, talked to Blathers (lot’s of times) but he never mentioned Brewster anymore. Could this be a bug or something?

Did Blathers mentioned that he has to close the Museum for an upgrade to the Café? If he did then you'll have to wait a few days for the Museum to be upgraded to the Café and thats when Brewster will show up.

Oh dear then that means you failed to tell Blathers about Brewster on that day.

Yeah I don't know about that. I am not sure how to fix that. Never heard that happening before.

No, I’ve Googled my heart out on this topic, but couldn’t find anything about it… to bad, because it would make it a lot more fun if we had the cafe and everything after that… meh…

Maybe try going on a Kapp'n Tour again by talking to Kapp'n who is on the Dock of your island (Left or right) and see if Brewster might show up. If he does talk to him and mention to him that blathers sent you. Then after that go back to the Museum and talk to Blathers about it.

Well I tried my best, if everything else fails you may want to restart your island and do it over again, but it can take a while considering that you need K.K Slider and to have a 3 Star Rating on your island just to trigger the event for finding Brewster. I know thats something you may not want to do but just saying the option is there if you really want Brewster.

Good news, we did it! We travelled a year further in time via Nintendo settings, went to the museum and then Blathers started talking about Brewster Now I can move on with my life
