Friendly heads up for all my AC Amiibo Fans!

The legit cards are so expensive, so yea you can get the spoofs cheap online... I got some that work the same from alliexpress and alibaba. I also got all 4 binders to put the cards in. Also the legit cards are paper they can bend and warp over time if you are not careful, thankfully the spoofs are hard plastic so you never have to worry about wear and tear. Just wanted to let everyone know that.

Ps. there is also Amiibo Coins, I recently got some of those too, they are the Welcome Amiibo RV coins.

So now we don't have to wait for Nintendo to dole out more, we can find them ourselves for a LOT cheaper!

I've seen a lot of cute options on Etsy too! I've seen people who will do drawings and such of your villager of choice or really cute fan-made card designs. May get a card of Whitney this way in the future!

Thinking about making my own amiibo cards, and buying the nfctags on aliexpress, 100 for £15 which Is way cheaper than paying a pound or dollar for one tag on amazo. I’d like the sanrio ones

There is also a way to get amiibos without having to buy the nfc tag cards. It only works on newer samsung phones but you can download amiibo data and just use the amiibo feature in some joy con app and get the ones you need. Making custom ones are cool too if your creative and have a bit of an artistic side

In addition to etsy, I would also recommend ebay! Of course always look at the seller's ratings, but I've had positive experiences on there so far. The ones on ebay are generally not aesthetic though, and I bought them simply for their function in-game
