I restarted my New leaf town, and would like to play with others. And just have friends to play with for other titles maybe? My 3DS plays the old games too, well, the normal DS/DSlite games.

My friend code is 4701 5314 7011

3DS online doesn’t work anymore, unless you’re using fan servers. I haven’t used them before so I wouldn’t be able to tell you how they work.

I did mention that I play old DS games too. So not just limiting myself to playing AC with others. Unless you can't use the 3DS to trade pokemon with friends any longer. Because my 3DS the old DS games. I also have a mostly functional 2DS. (3DS is a hacked system, came that way from Japan).

DS online functionality has also been cut since 2014, so you wouldn’t be able to play with others with DS games without using fan servers. Trading Pokemon with others from 3DS games would require the same steps. My point is that 3DS and DS online isn’t as easy anymore since the official support no longer exists.

It's not impossible though. I'm not opposed to making friends on here, and if nearby, meeting up to play Pokémon. It doesn't hurt to have friends on the 3DS however. Even if servers were closed.
