Fruits on the Islands

Hi everyone!

My island's native fruit are pears. I have probably been to the Nook Miles Islands about 20 times now and I would say my stats are:

16 islands - pear trees
2 islands - cherry trees
2 islands - bamboo trees

I am wondering whether I am ever going to encounter peaches, oranges or apples on my travels. My question is - have any of you ever encountered more than your town fruit/1 other non-native fruit/bamboo on the islands to give me hope? (I want to find some apples!)

I've only encountered my native (oranges) and cherries.

i havent. i seem to only get tulips and roses on island tours, and bamboo, cherries, and oranges. i think that these are what im going to get for the rest of time maybe they made islands like this so that youre forced to trade with other people, which sucks. im still missing pears

i’ve only ever encountered my native fruit (peaches) and have come across only one island that had a different fruit (pears)

I've also only gotten peaches (native), pears, and bamboo

i can confirm you will only encounter 1 other fruit and 1 other flower other than your native. I have enountered apples (native) and oranges, as well as mums (native) and hyacinths. "Hybrid" islands will always be of the flower non native to your town as well.

Been on 20+ Miles islands too and I got only one fruit that wasn’t my native fruit (peaches). I got that one four times, which seems unlikely if there’s an opportunity for a random fruit island/other fruit islands imo. I’ve only seen two people claim they got more than one other fruit from Miles tickets.
