Funny megaphone moment

Today, I tried using the megaphone to call Moose. It kept saying "No reply, maybe they aren't nearby" or "No response". However, after saying his name several times, it said "There aren't any snowmen around this time of year!". WHAT SNOWMEN!? I didn't say anything related to snowmen or anything that sounds like snowmen.

This is one of the funniest experiences I have ever had when playing this game.

Megaphone is weird. I have to say julliver to wake gulliver up. And when I tried calling Saharah she wouldn't reply to me but then my sister does it and she replies. And the snowman thing happens sometimes too. And Kappn always thinks I'm calling him when I'm not.

I believe being able to call the snowmen via the megaphone was just an extra little tidbit. Unless you're so forgetful you don't even remember where you placed a snowman in a small town, it's pretty much a useless feature. I remember seeing a thread similar to this a few months or weeks back.

Anyway, my megaphone is pretty good for the most part...maybe it's because my villagers' names are easy to pronounce? XD

I have a ton of trouble calling Saharah when I know she's in town. It pops up with the "maybe they're not around" message constantly, and I've gotten the Snowman one as well. It seems like you have to say her name just perfectly. It works a lot better with characters with shorter unique names that the game easily recognizes, like Vesta or even Joan.

I just tried messing with the megaphone by shouting "potato" into it a few times and both Graham and Robin answered. Megaphone, I do not understand you.

It tends to work if you say one syllable at a time. For example:

Ju|li|an, |Ro|bin|, Dai|sy.

XD I've had the snowman thing, too.

Also, you can wake Gulliver up with the megaphone? XD I just talk to him over and over.

My megaphone can't find Phoebe. .-. It always thinks I'm calling Tia.
