Further item display suggestions

I know some of you will be like "Oh not him going on about items again." but I think this an area that could have some good discussion. As most of you may know there are way more than 10 "collectible" items on these forums. I'm going to drop the "add another row" idea, but I have some other ideas and maybe some input could be given. I will also bring some ideas I previously mentioned and were previously discussed.

Of course there's a chance one of you will come in and go "no ty" and close it but at least it existed.

Here are 4 options. More than one could be possible, or none could be possible.

1. Adding an extra item for each row. There is space for it, it would not be too distracting, and it will not break the rest of the interface.

2. Having a sort of collection page on the profile, not like the inventory page we have, but a page that displays ALL of your items in a place where other users can access and see them.

3. Having a page on the forum that lists all the collectibles available.

4. Continuing life as normal, bro. Don't change a thing.

Yeah, the shop tab can tell you everything, so we do have that That solves number 2.

Way to ruin the party. It only shows the most recent items anyway.

Just to point out--the shop page only shows which are active so for anyone who only wants 10 specific ones showing, they need to uncheck the rest (or at least any newer than the oldest in the group of 10) and thus, they will not show up on the shop page.

I mentioned this before and I'm pretty sure it's not an option in the shop add-on. Since Vbulletin mostly runs on add-ons, I'd recommend looking at shop add-ons people have made and suggesting from there as a lot of the time, part of why it's not done is because it doesn't have the option to be.

Anyway, while I'd love to see more items on the sidebar and yes, there is technically room (though, they could always center it too), I do think it looks nicer with 5 and 5 over 6. I think 6 makes it look a bit too long. Regardless, I voted for this anyway because collectibles.

As for the collectibles page, it'd be nice if there was like a gallery in the shop that showed all the items out of stock/where they were from, but for now, I'm looking into possibly making a group dedicated specifically to collectibles and making a page there (or right on the front page) that has a full list of each collectible and where it's from.

I agree with the first option, especially since there's twelve months. People are going to want to display all 12 of their gemstone collectibles when we get to August, so I definitely think this is necessary imo, regardless of how long it makes the icons look. For right now option one isn't necessary though; not until next year.

While this is the #1 point made, I'd just like to say it seems only a few people will want to display all (or at least have expressed the desire to for that specific reason). Many expressed just wanting their birth month or even just a few favorites.

This was already proposed previously and it was rejected.

I wouldn't really say rejected. We aren't making any changes to the items at the moment, but that doesn't mean we won't in the future.

I think Jas0n brought up a good point either way RE: a 3rd row.

Having that many items would be overwhelming to look at, and unnecessary in my opinion. Besides, not everybody has all that extra space. Without signatures or with smaller signatures that space quickly goes away.
