Game crashed?

I had the game going on the island (alone) and it was active (didnt hit home to minimize) and just closed the 3ds. I had to take a call when I came back my 3ds had the white home screen load then when I loaded ACNL it said it didn't save last time. This is the first time this happened to me. Do I need to be worried about my save starting to corrupt or something? Town loaded fine it seems to me.
